Native Plants Nursery

I just want to put out there that despite this being a low rating, I do hope to change this in the future. My visit was brief and initially, I was very impressed by the size of the nursery and service of the staff. It was pretty cool to see the gazebo in the middle with a living roof. Lots of the nurseries I go to are just someone’s passion project in their backyard, so this was another beast entirely. We arrived at closing, but the staff were very kind to grab our selection ahead of time. We paid quickly and left, but I did notice that the annual gaillardia was in a large one gallon pot. I paid $12 for it. I did hope that I was wrong but as you can see from the pic, the plant could’ve been sold in a 4” pot (at most) for much less. Anyways, I will return bc this has got to be one of the largest native nurseries in the area. I will however be more aware to avoid buying small root annuals sold in gallon pots.

Employees are knowledgeable and willing to help but are not pushy. Nice native plants and good selection to choose from. If looking for native plants that are good for pollinators make sure you check them out.

We had a wonderful experience at Native Plant Nursery in Oklahoma City! We purchased a variety of plants for a landscaping install that my son is working on . The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about native plants. They took the time to answer questions and made sure we selected the right plants for our space and conditions. It’s clear they truly care about sustainability and helping customers succeed. The plants themselves were healthy, well-rooted, and clearly well cared for. We’re excited to see how everything fills in over time! If you’re looking to incorporate native plants into your landscape, I highly recommend this nursery. We’ll definitely be back!

I bought about 15 plants here, mostly one-gallon size perennials. Even in the middle of a heat wave, everything in the nursery was thriving. The selection was great. I don't live in OKC, but even though I'm used to wholesale prices for native plants, I found the retail prices very fair and manageable. The big pots in the photo have some of the native plants I planted for a family member.
